7pm News/Public Affairs Hour...?

Here is an area in which ExperimentFM would specifically like to solicit your feedback:

ExperimentFM is considering adding a new hour of news and public affairs programming at 7pm on most weekdays. This would replace the music which currently occupies this time slot. The programming found here would be very similar to the programming already heard from 5-7pm Monday through Friday.

We know there are many ExperimentFM listeners who would value hearing more news and discussion from alternative viewpoints, regarding overlooked issues which affect our democracy, our media, and under-represented groups and viewpoints in our culture.

We're also aware that an equally important constituency of listeners value ExperimentFM for the diverse selection of music heard on ExperimentFM most of the day, much of which we can't find elsewhere on the FM dial.

What are your ExperimentFM listening habits? What would you be most likely to listen to between 7-8pm weekday evenings? Is this the only time convenience allows you to listen to music on ExperimentFM? Or are you disappointed when the discussion ends at 7pm and you wish there was more?
